In this version of Bi Bim Bap, steamed rice is served in a separate bowl. Then, I &quot;dump&quot; it in the big bowl and mix them, which results in the &quot;mess&quot; above. ^_^;;;

The other version of Bi Bim Bap I have had (and this is probably most people is more familiar with) is the one served in a really hot stone bowl. That is, the bowl is drizzled with sesame oil, steamed rice is served in the bowl (which continues to cook and creates a layer of toasted rice at the bottom) and then topped with vegetables and a raw egg. Again, you mix it with some chili sauce and the result is similar to the one above. Hmmmmmm.... I am getting hungry again!</description>
