Eventhough I've only been blogging for a few months, I find that I'm trying to go to new places, and order new things. About your comment of being too critical of others, it's not just you! I'm finding that I have to constantly put a list of both nice and not so nice comments, but finding the balance is the issue. I like reading your blog, so you're keeping the balance just fine!
