I am now sure that when Robert Frost wrote The Road Not Taken, he was not thinking about getting something to eat. In my case, at lunchtime, instead of walking through Denman, I walked through Bidwell, the street parallel to Denman. I knew there was nothing there but I chose to walk through this street instead; after all, who knows what I would find. Unfortunately, there was nothing between Robson and Davie and chose to stop at the first place I found: Wrapzone.

OK, not exactly the *first* place, in the corner of Davie and Bidwell was a small cafe but was not in mood for breakfast type meal. Anyway, I walked in and checked their menu. I must admit I am not a huge fan of wraps. Sure, I would eat them (shawarma anybody?), just that I feel it lacks something… Sorry, I can’t explain that feeling…

I ordered a wrap called “Jimmy the Greek” which, based on the list of ingredients, sounds like a village/Greek salad with rice and chicken in a plain tortilla. In principle that sounds good; in actual practice, it was bland. White rice as base with boiled chicken, well, that should have given me a hint.

I think this is the only positive point of the meal: I had the wrap with chips and a drink. Usually I don’t include these additional items but I did so because they were no generic chips. Rather it has Que Pasa, which is made locally here in Metro Vancouver. It was interesting, in its own way. Probably I should drop by their outlet store some time…
Let’s go back to Robert Frost poem…
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Sure, that sounds great; however, just don’t do it with food.

That’s what I usually base my decisions on, whether there are lots of people in the restaurant or not! Although, not all restaurants with lots of people are good, sometimes it’s because they’re cheap. The wrap looks nice, although slightly bland like you said!
