After my unsatisfying lunch at Vinada, on my way back to work, I had to stop for some dessert. Since I was running short of time, that meant I couldn’t go around Robson or all the way to Denman/English Bay. However, I remember one of my favourite small shops in Vancouver, Chicco.

Their special that day was a light cheesecake. Hey, who am I to argue about cheesecake! So, here it is:

Now, when they said “light”, they REALLY meant light! While walking back to my office, I was afraid it would crumble due to the way I was swinging it. But, fortunately, that did not happen. But, wait, I said cheesecake right? If that’s the case, why does it look like a piece of sponge cake?

Actually, that’s what I thought myself. But, indeed, it tasted like cheesecake, to the point I did not even missed the cream! Yes, indeed it was good. I wished I had a bit more of time that day because I would have certainly ordered the other items, including the parfait. Yummm! I will certainly be back.
