One of my french canadian freind recommended me go to there.
I went to go this restaurant with parents.
We spent time in there and was very satisfied.
I just imagined when I was traveling in Europe.

Thank you for making delicious crepes and serving with wonderful smile.

When I have time I must go there again.

Hi Kim,

I’ve been Crêperie La Bretagne a few times and I find that it’s pretty good compared to Cafe Crepe. I usually order the non-buckwheat version. Some nice ones to try are: La Quebecoise, La Sarladaise and Ratatouille & Swiss Cheese (I add salmon with extra cost). The crepes gratin are not my faves as it is really artery clogging rich and very filling.

As for the service, I wouldn’t say it was good or bad. It was ok.

Raidar, based on pictures I have seen from other bloggers on this place, it seems savoury crêpes are folded like that. However, in other places, specially in open markets, they are folded in a triangle. I guess it depends on how you will be eating it (i.e., seated or as street food).

Monchichi, I would assume the syrup would be for sweet crêpes, the same way syrup would be for pancakes. If that was the case, it sounds like a crime (pouring syrup on crêpes); I would rather use honey or maple syrup. But, unfortunately, in a restaurant, these two are far more expensive that mass produced syrups, so I guess that ends up being a functional alternative.

Interesting combination. I don’t think I would have thought about putting that together. I’m not much of a savory crepe fan, which is weird I guess because I change up my sandwich breads all the time. Really it is just another ‘food encasing’ option. Hmmm.

It’s funny you mention the cone shape, as I was thinking as I read with my eyes – I wonder if he gave it a quick unfold and refold.

I’ve been to “Crêperie La Bretagne” once and my experience was similar to your’s. It was okay. I’ll probably go back at some point, but there are a lot of other options in the area.

How was the service? When I went, it was super busy too and the waitress was super rude. I didn’t mind that much because it made me feel like I was back in Paris
