Great post. After seeing the first burger, I thought the next one would be a wash with mushroom goodness. Here is something I found from the press release last year about the bacon cheddar fries;

"Hardee's today announced a new way to enjoy the classic American side item: Bacon Cheddar Fries. The new menu item will help beat back that cold winter weather with a hearty dollop of hot cheddar cheese sauce sprinkled with crumbled bacon."

It made me laugh KimHo, as bacon and cheddar cheese smothered fries are far from what I would use to beat back the winter weather here in Alberta!
