I personally smoke and slow cook a lot of Ribs, roasts and fish with my selection of charcoal, gas and electric equipment (5 pieces to date) and find the food at MB to be worth going out for. Perhaps you went on an off day. I introduced my 10 year old boy to the place and he is a now a regular, inspite of the excellent chow at home. My advice, try it again or try another location. Even though I really like Memphis Blues, I'm not a big fan of their ribs believe it or not. I find them dry and hard. But that could just be me. And I hate the coleslaw. Not my favourit e for sure. I'm glad you experienced the same thing, I thought I was being picky or something. Although I do love their brisket and pulled pork. I can agree on the inedible blobs.
