I've always loved megabite pizza above all of them. It's just a better tasting pizza with the most generous amount of toppings. Also, there's so many specialty pizzas to choose from.

I usually go to the broadway and commercial location. I return because I love the spinach and feta pizza.

Soupnazi, welcome! Actually, I was in Brado last week... OK, let me correct that, I was in the shawarma shop beside Brado. I was tempted to go for the pizza but the owner of the shawarma shop swayed me. I guess now I have a good reason to go there! Really good comparison. I think I should do something similar but with the pizza parlours in Downtown.

As for Halifax donair, please, do not remind me of that! I have been to Halifax twice in the last three years and did not go there, choosing instead to go to sit down restaurants! (sigh). Hopefully next time...

Awesome pics and I love your blog. (I've been a fan for a while) =D

The good old pizza comparision! My bro and I did a "pizza crawl" (kinda like a pub crawl) and a slice of pizza and many of the establishments on commercial drive. I'd rank Brado Pizza as the best, followed by Megabite (on commercial which had more toppings than downtown) Pizza Garden, Uncle Fatih\4 Brothers with a tie, then Urban Grain last. Brado seemed to be different thinner/chewier type of dough which I prefer over the others which seem very similar with a thicker sesame seed crust.

I miss the east coast Halifax pizza of my youth at the "pizza corner". Sicilian slices the size of your head and 1/4th the pizza.

Then there are Halifax style donairs.....drool!

Pearl, I think I eat out a bit too much... ^_^;;;

Jessica, using Chinese buns as a reference, which tends to have a slight egg-y taste, I don't think I found them egg-y. Not that it is bad, anyway. Out of curiosity, which Megabite location you usually go?

Raidar, I thought the first picture was a bit better, because there was sunlight... No, 4BP did not grate cheese on top, it was "as is". ChichaRROOONNNNN!!!!! XD

I've got to say just from the pictures, the first definitely doesn't look as appealing. With the cheese and everything so commingled it appears to be more delivery looking, than in-store pickup. The 4BP looks put together a bit cleaner...did they add some fresh grated cheese after it came out? It sure looks like that way on the left slice. It must be hard at times, especially with all the options to declare a winner..Plus timing, I think you mentioned it can all depend - time of day, pizza maker, time out of the oven etc...

I totally figured when I saw the menu board for 4BP you would have asked for the chorizo..maybe with a side of chicharron. :)
