[...] A piece of quiche. It was still slightly fluffy but couldn’t really taste that much of the ingredients. And the crust was, well, I wished it was similar to a pie crust but here it was a bit mushy. (sigh). Overall, I was disappointed with the whole lunch, specially the price variable is taken into account. The lunch was $9 and given all the options in the area, I could do a lot better. For example, for an extra loonie (or CDN $1 for non-Canadians), get some fish and chips… [...]

Carolyn, :D

Raidar, actually, the picture was not THAT recent. This week has been cloudy/rainy in Vancouver... :(

In my case, I am still in my search for a fried-fish-to-go place as none of the local fish and chips shops so far even remotely match the fried fish in Panama. So, absolutely no problem with trying almost any of them, hehehehehe.

First the cherry blossoms and now spring weather..geez some days Edmonton is lacking behind.

I find fish and chips a hard dish to branch out from. Having discovered my go to place here, it's often difficult to convince myself to 'risk' all those calories on bad fish.

Pearl, more landscape pictures coming soon! ^_^

Dave, ah, how I wish everything that looks good would taste as good as it looks... Fortunately, I seldom go for visual, hehehehehe.

Sherman, I am not too fond of brunches. It is a mix of two things and ends up being good at none... I prefer corvina or pargo (something similar to red snapper) but you won't find them here. No, the red snapper found here is not the same as the pargo I am referring to.

For $10, I'd still eat it... hehe... Raincity Grill has good brunch, if you ever have a chance. On the issue of the halibut, I actually prefer cod, even though it's cheaper. Maybe because I'm Chinese, I love cod.
