Sherman, Mistral is “too far”. C’mon, I told you I seldom go west of Cambie street!

Yum! I have yet to try Les Faux Bourgeois.
The food at Salade de Fruits is very yummy such as the moules et frites (mussels and fries) and the duck pate. :p~

Not to mention this place is just so close to Granville Island!

Ah. Les French…

I think french food over here is a bit pricey, as so many restos try to put their best food forward and give you that impression of “grande cuisine”. But just like in any other country, tehre is inexpensive french food.

But yes, these places are hard to find.

Hey Kim and ET, I love Salade de Fruits and Les Faux Bourgeois. Can’t beat the value. Food is good too. However, you really should try Mistral. It’s slightly more expensive, but it’s really good!

Hey Kim, what a coincidence! We were just at Salade de Fruits for dinner last Friday. The food was good, but I think Les Faux Bourgeois was slightly better.
