Looks amazing. I love the idea behind the sampler plate, too bad about the breading/grease – a sure fire way to wreck and fish & chip experience.

Fresh maple syrup in snow! A childhood memory from living out east. It always tasted so amazing. Some nice ‘clean’ forest snow topped with sugary goodness.

You really got around Kim! I was at Canada Place myself and yes, I did not lineup for ANYTHING! LOL… But the syrup really looked good! I remember learning about those when I watched a program about the Ice Festival in Quebec. Yes, too much batter kills anything. Too bad. Drea… Lee’s donuts… mmmmm… donuts…

Yes, that pie place is called A La Mode. They had some interesting looking items but not good enough against fried food! Hahahahahaha!

Dude, that is so weird. I was totally at Granville Island around noon, but I left pretty quickly. I’ve never seen the place more crowded in my life! I had some soup from the Stock Market and a pie from the place across from it. Pretty good.

Ooh, and I totally got donuts from Lee’s Donuts. That place blows my mind.
