Peter let me tell you about my recent experience at Fuddruckers in Dublin Ca. I too ordered a hamburger cooked medium, but unlike you, I did not inspect the color of the patty (I wish I would have). I beleive I am now suffering from e coli infection. First (2) days, after ingesting the burger, extreme radical vomiting/diareah. Now on third day, severe diareah. It appears the only treatment is to let the infection run it’s course and drink clear fluids. I will never eat at Fuddruckers again.

Peter, I just realized there is (was?) one in Saskatoon… I guess in its days, they were popular to an extent. And, agreed, not a bad place, specially considering the produce bar. But, in the end, there are better.

Kate, one thing I did not confirm/check is if they grind their own meat. If they do (and assuming the beef is from a good source), I won’t be so wary about E. coli. However, if they don’t… Let’s just say I am still alive and kicking!

It looks good – except for the raw hamburger! I’ve always wondered why they’re allowed to not fully cook hamburger meat in the US with e coli. and everything.

Fuddruckers. I am surprised that they are still around.

There was one in Calgary until about 10 years ago. Not a bad place.
