Continuing with my series of places to visit/events/pavilions during this Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games, today, a quick stroll in Robson Street. Just in case, my other posts in this serie:

This one will be mostly a photo essay, so enjoy! :)

In the picture above, you can see the Vancouver Art Gallery and GE Ice Plaza (the dome at the bottom left of the picture). If you look really closely, what do you see on the top right???

One of the main attractions: the Olympic Zip Line! The line for this free attraction is said to be a couple of hours per day.

O RLY?!

And, finally, something of a surprise. This picture was taken in Vancouver Art Gallery. Spring is here! :D

EEEEeeee!! The zipline! HAHAH… you heard wrong…it’s only in the early hours of the day. Let’s say you go there around 6am it would take you about a couple of hours wait to go on that thing. If you come during the “rush” it would take at least 5 hours minimum to do on that thing. Why? It’s cuz ppl catch wind of that and want to go on it for free especially with the non-rainy days. But to wait THAT long for something that gives you a thrill for 20 seconds. I’ll see…

Anita, I value my sleep, so no 6:00 a.m. for me! ;) I won’t wait for it either, there are other things to do instead of waiting for that zipline.

re zipline: I think, just fork over $100 and do it for real. I did about 2 or 3 summers ago (or 4??! I don’t remember). But, it was really fun.

TS, I was thinking the same thing. But, in this case, call it the psychology of “free”…
