Why, I ate at East is Easy to join you guys! Plus, I had never eaten there–only had chai. I prefer the food at most falafel joints like Babylon to East is East. But that’s just me.

i had to check out their menu (afghan food near me? yeah!) and it doesn’t look like there is much or anything veggie. i like how the veggie stuff is covered with meat sauce… LOL

Darina, what would be the reason you “ate” East is East? Now, I certainly have an idea you might dislike it… As for Afghan Chopan, some of the dishes might be spicy but it is barely noticeable. (But my tolerance might be skewed!)

I just saw this posted on Sherman’s site. I’m supposed to go there with my class next week but I’m not sure. I’ll be honest, I hated East is East. Was it spicy? I can’t eat spicy food. The meat looks good, though. Hmm…

Yah, I found the food to decent and definitely a good departure from the usual. We really should explore more types of cuisine and in different places. The burbs need some love, even if there are dead bodies nearby…

Funny that I read this and five minutes later on the local news they say they have found a dead body at a baseball field in Surrey.
