Right after my visit to the Car Free Day event in Denman Street, I went to Commercial Drive’s. While I had the chance to also go to the one in Main Street (my original intent), I ended up in this one instead. Don’t ask why, OK? ^_^;;;

Welcome to another iteration of Battle of Pizza Parlours! As suggested by the subject, this is the second version – the previous instance was based on my favourite pizza spot, 2001 Flavors, compared to 604Foodtography’s suggested Uncle Fatih’s Pizza. In the end, I thought both were good options, it is just dependant on where you are. This time, the comparison is similar: A local chain, Megabite Pizza against another Commercial Drive local pizza shop, 4 Brothers Pizza (4BP, from here on). As a sidenote, I must mention, Megabite also has a shop somewhat near 4BP, in Broadway/Commercial Skytrain Station, not to mention a variant called Pizza Garden (check this post by, again, 604Foodtography); however, I went to Downtown Vancouver’s location. So, without further ado…

I will admit something. I have restricted myself a little bit on the places I have gone. To an extent, that is not voluntary, rather, I get distracted and end up going somewhere else. One of these places is Commercial Drive, aka, The Drive. I have blogged about restaurants in this area, like Tony’s Deli, Fratelli Bakery, La Grotta del Formaggio, Memphis Blues and so on. One day, although slightly cloudy, I chose to drive there for lunch. Did I need a reason? Not really… And, when I got there, it seems a lot of people chose to do the same, as most restaurants were almost packed. So, when I saw an opening in The Reef, I almost ran there…
