After tasting those wings from Phnom Penh, I wanted to have a similar experience and wondered: Is there any other restaurant that is Phnom Penh’s competition when it comes to wings? That brought me memories of a small stand in Aberdeen Centre in Richmond (and thanks to our friends from Eat, Snap, Repeat). Would it be a match? Whose chicken wings will reign supreme???
(And, no, despite their odd name, they don’t serve dessert!)

Ah, sandwiches… Something so simple, yet a lot of places manage to mess it up royally. I have read a lot about a small place in Richmond that makes killer sandwiches and I thought, hey, why not! So, this is my visit to Bob’s Submarine Sandwiches.
A couple of weeks/months ago, while guest blogging, I wrote some post about chicken, specifically, fried chicken (check here, here and here). Of course, my quest did not end with those post (in fact, I left out a post for Church’s…); that might as well be an eternal quest.
When I was working in Richmond, I was told about a fried chicken restaurant in No. 5 Road and Cambie; but I kept going to restaurants in No. 3 Road and/or Garden City. In an odd twist, now that I don’t even work nearby, something was bugging me. It was like that proverbial itch… So, That’s how I ended up in L.A. Chicken…
